To be a mom sometimes it's very difficult.
Last night my daughter Alexandra had a little accident.
I felt so helpless. I could't do anything to take the pain away.
When they have fever, i give them medicines or a bath and they get better.
But this ..... . It was shocking.
The minute the doctor put the injection into the wound to make the stiches, i almost collapsed.
Fortunately, my sister was there and she stood by me and my baby.
I thank her so much for that.
I spent all night long next to my daughter. I wish her well and nothing bad happen again.

Hallo Antigoni, I hope your little daughter feels better again by now (and you, too). When I hear your story I remember when my little nephew was one and a half years old and he had a little open wound over the eye. We had to go to the hospital and have it stitched.
The little boy cried for fear, and I also felt so helpless because I could do nothing to quiet him. It was a terrible feeling.
When I see the pictures of your last blog I immediately want to come to Greece as a tourist again...
Have a nice weekend!
PS: Your sister has infected you with blogging. I have infected my husband with blogging. He just returned from walking the dog and said: I must take the camera with me next time... :)

Tough to take, all those little injuries!
That's motherhood. With its great moments, and fear moments. I've experienced such bad moments too, unfortunately.
But fantastic moments are always larger than bad moments.
Hope everything OK now.
Hello Antigoni, I was thrilled that you visited theVintageNest and hope you'll be back often. Your poor baby...hope she is all better today. It's so hard as a Momma to see our babies get hurt. My two boys are all grown up now but I still hurt when something is wrong with one of them. xo Lynn
Sorry to hear of your daughters accident. Yes being a Mother and Grandmother (for me) has lots of difficulties and twists and turns. Faith and strong family ties are the only ways to get through the tough times.
Hello Antigoni, I hope by now your little girl's wound is healing. I had great sympathy with you. Being a mother we feel every pain our children experience. It's a wonder we don't have more gray hairs!
