I love photography.
I have thousands of pictures.
I started my photographic hobby with my parents' "Olympus".
When i got married, we bought a "Canon EOS 500".
With that camera i took the first photos of my kids and all our happy moments.
Although my husband bought a digital camera, i never gave up of my baby, my very own "Canon".
And, because of my love for photography, i kept and still keep all the film negatives.
The film negatives in this picture are this year's negatives.

It's not just a hobby for you, believe me I know....!:D...LOL!!!
Normal for Antigone to be negative and able to say no to the power ( of the digits).
Antigoni = Antigone or what
Interesting. I think I got rid of most of my negatives when we moved. They just took up too much room. Its fun to hear what others do with theirs.
Good for you and still using film. I guess I am now a complete Digital-phile now.
My story is very similar.
Take care
Ray
I was trying to play with words Antigi and antigone, this character who dared to say no to a king.
May be it's less ovious than I think it is in French (and in my head).
It's a good hobby. I know what you mean! I often take my bicycle and go photo hunting, I like to do so when the weather is fine, that stands to reason! Thanks for your visit.
I was never very good at keeping up with negatives. I have always loved photography, but was never able to do as much as I wanted until digital photography. I don't miss the negatives, and the price of film and processing.
An Arkie's Musings
Would you believe for all my photography, I never thought of 'negative'. Silly me.
Never thought of "negatives".Neat post!
A very good idea for your N post ..
As a photographer for a living I know how precious negatives are. I still have thousands of them, even now I'm digital.
Keeping negatives shows just how much you love this hobby! Taking pictures is my favorite thing also! I just LOVE it so much!
You're the second choosing negatives. Good choice!
Very good idea for ABC Wednesday and I have a box of them somewhere...
ABC Letter N
I still have boxes of negatives hanging around. Great choice for our N-day!
You have been very busy photographing this year by the number of negatives you have there.
Bear((( )))
It's great that you could pursue your love for photography for years. As a young girl, I always had a camera but photography was restricted to family functions and outdoor trips.
This continued for years after I was married into a conservative Marwari family till a couple of years ago when I got my Sony Cybershot and since then, there's no looking back for me.
Great choice for 'N'
I have hundreds of old negatives too. What a good choice for the theme.
great one! now all those negatives have such positive values!!
Good choice for N.
I have hundreds of negatives too. I used to shoot a lot in B/W and develop my own photos. Now I shoot digital; but maybe one day I will get out my Olympus SLR (OM2) again.
A great choice. I kept negatives for years but have since let them go in favour of digital.
I've still got all my old negatives - when someone wanted a copy of one of my old photographs (and was prepared to pay for it) I actually managed to find the negative and got our local photoshop to develop a print for me.
(edited for typos and previous comment deleted)
great N post! I finally got a digital but I love my film camera!
I am the same way! I have boxes & boxes of negatives & still use my "old" Nikon!
ah! ingenious!
Lovely post!
Negatives is a perfect subject for "N" Wednesday on a photo blog!
"Louis" thanks you for visiting San Francisco Bay Daily Photo!
Haven't seen negatives for years. I prefer digital myself.
I took lots of pictures with film, but even more now with digital. Developing was always so expensive.
I have so many negatives from the past! But these days I wouldn't swap my digital for anything - except a bigger and better digital!!!
Wow... haven't seen any of those in many years. :) Great choice for ABC Wednesday!
Reminds me of my mother and her negatives. Thanks so much for a great memory.
We have some old negatives in a packet from 1930! I wonder if they'd still develop!
I haven't used film for many years but I still have my negatives! : D
I can't give up my film camera either. I wonder if the photo quality is better of worse??
Nice "N" post! #3 on the ABC N list, David Mcmahon, also posted about negatives for his N word. Brilliant minds think alike!
You sound like me - I have thousand of negatives!
i dont keep negatives any more, because i am in love with the digital age we live in!
Antigoni, negatives is a great choice for N.
Have a nice Sunday!
It was hard for me to give up my film camera. It had to quit working. The first time it happened, I bought a used one just like it, but it didn't work well, either. So I finally went digital. Easier, but I still miss the old one sometimes!
