MY WORLD TUESDAY: CHRISTMAS DECORATION

Last week i missed the "My World" post because the problem i had with my internet connection.

I want to tell you about my children's school and show you the christmas decoration at school and at home.

Our school's principal, Maria, did excellent job this year.

It's her first year as a principal and she made a miracle.

Our school is the most beautiful school on the island.

From the first day of her new post, she tried to do her best.

She renovated the school.

After almost fourteen years, the building needed this.

All the classrooms were painted, new bookcases and drawers placed everywhere and new bars replaced the old ones all over the school yard.

For Christmas: 1. She organised a big bazaar (she asked from the kids to bring old toys and books in good condition, then put 1, 2 or 3 euros to each of them and sale them. The kids were the salesmen). The money that they gathered went to poor families.

2. She and her sister made an awesome decoration.

3. She organised a book exhibition.

4. She made a speech for parents with the theme: reading between kids and parents.

And she keeps going.

Thank you, Maria for the good work you have done and you'll do at the future.

All the cards and the paintings are made from the kids with the guidance of our principal.

After our school's decoration, i present you my home's decoration.

Our little vilage

Our fire place

All these are from inside.

I didn't take photos from outside.

I' ll do that to a next post.

Would you believe that I have almost the identical Christmas tablecloth as you have on your kitchen's table?
It's a small world after all!
