MY WORLD TUESDAY: WEEKEND TO ERETRIA, EVIA

After nine years of marriage, i went for a weekend trip with my husband, without kids.

All these years i never left the girls, not even for a night.

Everywhere we go, we go all together.

But my husband and i, really needed this weekend.

We needed some time for ourselves, although we missed our girls.

My precious and beloved sister became a weekend mom for my kids, so i could leave the kids without being worried.

We went to Eretria, Evia.
We stayed in an awesome hotel, the Negroponte Resort http://www.negroponteresort.gr/

We enjoyed every minute.

The rooms are awesome.

The food was fantastic and plenty.
The view from our room was indescribable.

And all the personnel was kind, polite and very helpful.

On the way home, we passed from Halkida's cable bridge.

It was an unforgettable and full revivable weekend.

Fun and beautiful! Lucky you! My husband and I did that TWICE this year (just a fluke--things panned out that way) and we've been married 10 years. It was too much for one year, but it was WONDERFUL (the first trip, especially). I'm so glad you had this opportunity!

So glad you had a wonderful time away from your children. I think all couples need that once in a while to rejuvenate their relationship. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful spot with us all.

It is so, so important to spend some time just together, I know that, our 45th anniversary is next June :)
The place looks wonderful for relaxing and enjoying, happy you!
I will go after three weeks to take care my 1year and 3months old granddaughter, that her parents can spend time two days in a spa quite near their home. I will give it to them as a present.

You should do that more often! Even if it's just for a weekend. Looks like you picked exactly the right place to visit too!

Oh, that sounded like heaven to me - and such wonderful photos!

You just reminded me about our honeymoon, which we spent in Crete. Such a fantastic island. I love Greece, the sea, the nature, the architecture, the food, the people....

Knowing your sister was looking after your girls probably made all the difference to your ability to enjoy just being together. So glad you had some private time together without any responsibilities.

Antigoni, unfortunately the kangaroos are so very small in Austria and can only be found at the Zoo.
So I do not understand why Austria is often mixed up with Australia ;)
Have a nice week!
